LGS solutions can collect, analyze, and provide intelligence related to nearly every essential detail of communication and computing networks and infrastructure. Using custom and COTS-based hardware and software, LGS solutions serve to identify, map, and assess the vulnerability of the most complex telecommunications networks.
Geospatial (GEOINT) & Imagery (IMINT): LGS engineers, develops, and deploys systems used to analyze imagery collected from airborne and space-based systems to detect the presence of human activity associated with weapons manufacturing. LGS spectroscopic solutions, using multi-band lasers as illuminators, are coupled with processing and software subsystems to allow analysis of optical signatures of sampled terrestrial areas, helping to identify the presence of specific chemical compounds or biological elements.
Signals (SIGINT): LGS creates solutions used to identify signals of interest, collect and analyze them, and develop intelligence information about them. LGS SIGINT systems include transmit and receive radio elements, antennas, and software used to identify, collect, and analyze all aspects of radiated signals.
Measurement & Signature (MASINT): LGS supports MASINT missions by enabling the measurement of chemical and biological compounds, collected radar data, and acoustic signals. Specifically, LGS laser spectroscopy systems can measure changes in soil conditions and the presence of specific chemicals. LGS also provides laser light sources and analysis components for use in LIDAR systems, as well as collection and analysis systems capable of analyzing the acoustic signatures produced by various manmade systems from a distance.
Processing, Exploitation & Dissemination (PED): LGS delivers end-to-end systems engineering, deployment, training, and mission support to ensure the intelligence community can collect, visualize, and act on information in a timely way. LGS PED solutions support the SIGINT, MASINT, networking, and other intelligence missions described above.
