LGS Innovations Service Router Platform Meets DoD Unified Capabilities Requirements
Herndon, Va. — March 18, 2013 — LGS Innovations, a subsidiary of Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU and Euronext Paris) dedicated to serving the U.S. Federal Government, announced today that its Alcatel-Lucent 7710 and 7750 Service Routers have been certified for the Department of Defense Unified Capabilities (UC) Approved Products List (APL).
The Office of the Secretary of Defense Information Infrastructure (OSD-NII) has mandated that all DoD Program Managers purchase products from the UC APL. This is in accordance with the Department’s Networthiness of Information Technology directive which mandates that defense organizations comply with security, interoperability, supportability, sustainability, and usability regulations, guidelines, and policies. The UC Interoperability and Information Assurance Certification was administered by the DoD Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), which validated data analysis, conducted product testing, and evaluated the 7710 SR/7750 SR for conformance and interoperability to UC requirements.

The 5620 SAM enables service aware end-to-end Operations Administration & Management of the 7710 and 7750 enabling administrators to quickly gain efficiencies above industry standards.
