LGS Innovations Honored with Industry Appreciation Award
Westminster, CO, April 20, 2011. LGS Innovations is proud to be an honoree at the Jefferson Economic Council’s 18th Annual Industry Appreciation Awards Breakfast. A subsidiary of Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU and Euronext Paris) serving the U.S. Federal Government, LGS Innovations was recognized for its contributions to the economic vitality of Jefferson County, Colorado. The Awards honor impressive businesses that have proven to be outstanding and innovative, and that are leaders in their industries and in Jefferson County. LGS was nominated by the City of Westminster, where LGS’ new facility in Westmoor Technology Park is anticipated to bring numerous jobs to the area over the next 5 years. Coupled with LGS’ commitment to innovation and forward-looking technologies, the addition of new jobs meets the requirements for the JEC awards, which recognize local businesses that not only bring capital investment and primary employment to the county, but that are also pioneers committed to developing products and services that improve lives. LGS Innovations embodies that vision through its efforts to invent the future of government networking, delivering advanced communications research, superior telecommunications products and services, and integrated networking solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies around the globe. LGS’ technologies and cost-effective solutions allow customers to improve government business by transforming the ability to quickly, securely, and efficiently send and receive information of all kinds – anywhere, at any time, on any device. Ronald W. Iverson, CEO for LGS Innovations, was very appreciative of this honor from the Jefferson Economic Council (JEC), one of the oldest economic development organizations in Colorado. “LGS is proud to be recognized by JEC, not only for our innovative products, but for our commitment to being a positive part of the communities where we do business,” he said. The award was presented to LGS at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities in Arvada, Colorado on March 24, 2011, in an annual event attended by business and community leaders from throughout Jefferson County.
