VIENNA, Va., September 9, 2009 -- LGS, a subsidiary of Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE:

announced it was awarded a certificate of registration for the International
Quality Standard - ISO 9001:2008*.
“Achieving the ISO 9001:2008 certification is a significant milestone for

to delivering the highest quality services and products to the U.S.
government.”
The ISO 9001 standard is the most widely recognized and established quality
management system framework in the world. The standard specifies
requirements for organizational Quality Management Systems and is focuses on an
organization's ability to meet customer requirements and continuously
improve.
The certification process focused on LGS’ Project Delivery Methodology
(PDM). PDM is LGS’s proprietary delivery process based on more than
30 years of U.S. government experience.
