Security challenges facing the U.S. Federal Government include how to manage risk by protecting networks and information from sophisticated threats; evaluating and controlling their risk profiles; and being compliant with relevant Federal laws such as the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). The government must also protect data shared between third parties and stored within the Cloud while minimizing fraud and data breaches, and control costs by removing any security-imposed productivity barriers while respecting constrained budgets and existing infrastructure investments.

We also evaluate network security tools to determine the best products to manage agency risks associated with the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information.
