VitalSuite Real-time Event Analysis Software

A next-generation network monitoring and management tool that allows network managers to view and analyze network performance in real-time, instead of waiting for daily reports. It provides tools for packet networks such as real-time monitoring, measurement, analysis and visualization of performance data and the immediate identification of network resources that have exceeded the defined network service levels.

• Ability to proactively monitor network performance and respond quickly to performance events directly
• Proactive network utilization reports (VoIP/FR/ ATM/ IP/ MPLS) for PVC, trunk, UNI/ NNI/ DXI peak and average utilization
• SLA Reports for network delay and network throughput (QoS)
• Support for virtually any SNMP network element via standard and enterprise SNMP objects, including Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Nortel, and others
• Collection of key performance data including utilization, packet loss, and throughput for network elements and interfaces
• Path analysis display maps on selected IP route paths through the network
• ATM support of logical ports, PVC QoS summary, and SVC summary measurements
• 3-D Topology view of performance data showing devices, interfaces and sub-networks with associated events
• Flexible threshold capability (default, user-configurable and adaptive, based on historical data) that generate events for congestion and other network conditions according to service parameters
• Rate-based thresholds, enabling alerts based on multiple occurrences of performance events over a specific time period
• Flexible architecture to accommodate new network elements as well as a new performance measurement query ability for viewing historical performance data.
