During the next decade, the U.S. Federal Government will continue its rapid transformation from an analog to a digital government. As IT and network infrastructures converge and are modernized, government agencies are moving to new ways to deliver more IT and communications services to citizens and personnel worldwide.
GSA Alliant provides the flexibility required to meet government agencies’ Information Technology (IT) and telecommunications requirements. A multiple award, IDIQ GWAC for IT services and IT services-based solutions with a $50 billion ceiling, Alliant provides information technology solutions through performance of a broad range of services, which may include those ancillary products and services of the IT solution that aren’t IT in and of themselves, but are integral and necessary to the solution.
Why Choose LGS Innovations?
As a leading communications and network integrator for U.S. Federal Government agencies, LGS Innovations builds and delivers complete turnkey solutions in support of customers, both CONUS and OCONUS. With an industry reputation for providing the best value for networking and communications products and services, LGS Innovations provides cost-competitive, best-of-breed products from a variety of telecommunications manufacturers to ensure our customers receive the most optimal solution, based on the best technologies available. In addition, we take into account existing communications assets and network infrastructure to ensure a smooth network integration and migration path.
LGS Innovations provides the best in network transformation, design, integration, implementation, and installation – including market-leading contract and program management services. From the initial phases of analysis and planning, to the implementation of new technology products, to deployment and ongoing maintenance of these solutions, our experts ensure that the customer’s network evolves to address the agency’s specific requirements and is aligned in support of mission objectives.
The LGS Innovations Difference
The ability to leverage the reach and resources of Alcatel-Lucent, our parent company, as well as the unrivaled technical expertise of Bell Labs, provides LGS Innovations with the insight and experience to understand both the IT and communication network environments. In addition, our U.S. Federal Government customers frequently cite our responsiveness, speed of execution, strong technical expertise, and lack of bureaucracy as the key reasons why they choose to work with us. This expertise and industry differentiation positions LGS Innovations as a trusted partner in support of the agency’s full network lifecycle—from advisor to integrator, to implementer and operator.
A Strategic Partner for Network Transformation
The complexity involved in undertaking a large transformation project requires the right partner to ensure success. The right partner is about much more than just the technology: accomplishing a network transformation requires a combination of skills and cross-industry knowledge.
LGS Innovations brings this expertise to its U.S. Federal Government customers, helping it evaluate, design, integrate, deploy, operate, and maintain next-generation communications networks. With a well-defined process to integrate and validate multi-technology and multivendor networks, LGS Innovations delivers networking solutions on time and within budget – and our ability to supply both equipment and network-build services helps customers surmount the challenges of time-to-deployment and resource limitations.
Products, Services and Solutions
-
Program and Project Management: from task order award to deployment, a single project or multiple projects within a program, LGS Innovations’ PMs coordinate efforts and logistics to ensure the necessary supplies and equipment are ordered, provisioned and installed, and the project timeframe meets the client’s requirements.
-
Network Engineering: LGS Innovations’ network engineering experience is a true differentiator: for example, we have deployed more network ports for the U.S. Army than any other company. This expertise ensures that LGS Innovations has the insight to optimize network engineering – whether this requires writing automation software, or, if the system is pre-configured at an offsite location, to minimize the amount of time LGS Innovations is on location at the customer site.
-
Material Procurement and Management: one of the benefits of working with LGS Innovations is that we own and control our own supply chain, with direct and immediate access to procurement specialists who can procure materials in CONUS and OCONUS; we also have the ability to leverage the supply chain of our parent company, Alcatel-Lucent.
-
Equipment Staging and Testing: whether we are on a customer site or offsite, LGS Innovations prepares the solution so it is ready to be deployed with minimal interruptions to agency personnel.
-
Configuration Management: throughout the integration process, LGS Innovations archives and manages the different versions of files as the files change over time; selects appropriate combinations of versions for integration, testing, and delivery; ensures that all changes to files are tracked; and manages the process of integrating the work of different developers. Therefore, the solution immediately fits into the customer environment and is ready to go on day one.
-
Multi-Vendor Integration: strong relationships with hardware and software vendors worldwide ensure LGS Innovations engages the right team to integrate the new network components, make sure everything effectively interoperates with legacy equipment, and that the new networks all work in harmony.
-
Legacy Integration: to maximize agency investments in legacy network products, LGS Innovations ensures that all new components and processes integrate and work as expected.
