John E. Barry

John Barry serves as the Director of Sales Operations for LGS Innovations. He is responsible for a variety of activities supporting the day-to-day operations of the company, including the development and administration of operational disciplines across the organization. These disciplines include internal compensation and budgetary activities, and strengthening the inter-entity cooperation among LGS Innovations and the other companies in the Alcatel-Lucent family. Mr. Barry also directs the rapidly deployable network (RDN) solution set, ensuring that its development and promotion supports U.S. Federal Government communications needs and LGS Innovations’ strategic direction. His facilitation of internal company processes and support of a key solution set strengthens LGS Innovations’ ability to serve U.S. Federal Government customers efficiently and effectively.

Mr. Barry’s career with LGS Innovations and its legacy companies spans more than 30 years, including time as a Change Agent for the Lucent Management Committee, a founder of the Lucent Professional Services business unit, Vice President of Government Commercial Products Group, and the founder of the KM initiative within Lucent Technologies.

Mr. Barry has a B.S. from the University of Maine and participated in an executive management program in 2000 at the MIT/Sloan School of Management.
