Dom Imbesi

Dominick J. Imbesi is the Senior Director of the Internet and Cybersecurity Research Department at LGS Innovations in Florham Park, New Jersey. Mr. Imbesi is responsible for identifying technology trends and developing strategic directions to maintain the department’s focus on solving the U.S. Federal Government’s hardest cybersecurity and IP networking problems. His areas of research interest include polymorphism, behavioral analysis, network element forensics, and probabilistic reasoning.

In addition to his cybersecurity work, Mr. Imbesi has more than 30 years of experience designing and developing optical, wireless and wireline data communication systems, global network architectures, multimedia products, and real time multi-processor architectures. Specific technical expertise includes laser communication, wireless protocols, requirements analysis, system design, network architecture design, transition to manufacturing, program management, and technical marketing.

Mr. Imbesi earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers College of Engineering and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers Graduate School. He holds at TS/SCI clearance, has numerous related publications, and has been awarded three patents with one patent pending.
