Kevin L. Kelly

Kevin L. Kelly applies more than 20 years of experience in the communications industry to his role as Chief Operations Officer. He has developed and deployed mission-critical communications solutions in some of the most challenging political and geographic environments in the world, and builds this insight and experience into the development of network-based solutions that solve the U.S. Federal Government’s most challenging networking and communications requirements.

As COO, Mr. Kelly is responsible for the Technology and Custom Products and Federal Solutions organizations, as well as the overall operational efficiency and effectiveness of the corporation. In managing the corporation’s operational effectiveness and efficiency, he also oversees the company’s administration, marketing and government relations.

Prior to his appointment to COO, Mr. Kelly directed strategy for all LGS Innovations’ professional services, optical networking, tactical communications, satellite communications, terrestrial microwave, IP/MPLS networks, ATM networking, and commercial wireless solutions.

Mr. Kelly began his LGS Innovations career 10 years ago as a Bell Labs engineer. His subsequent positions included Chief Engineer of a Global Network Engineering and Operations program for the Advanced Programs community, and Global Sales Director, and Regional Optical Networking Sales Director in Lucent Technologies’ commercial service provider organization.

Mr. Kelly holds a B.S.E.E. from Penn State University, and an M.S. in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University.
